If you're interested in zine making or are looking for an outlet to express yourself, this is the workshop for you. Come down to the Freo library for an opportunity to meet other artistic people and create something new.

During this workshop, each participant will create their own page which will then be combined to create one collective zine. This will be donated to the library and become a fixture in their zine library.

About Sophie Smith

Sophie Smith is an emerging artist from Perth, Western Australia. Recently featured in the 2022 Pulse Perspectives exhibition at the Art Gallery of WA, her art making tends to follow themes surrounding family, grief and mental health. With a focus in collage and textiles, Sophie hopes to explore the creation of zines, their place in history and how they can influence expression.
