Lisa Watson (she/her) was born in Cape Town (South Africa), before growing up in New Zealand then Perth (Western Australia), where she currently resides. Lisa has a creative soul that is finally connecting with the wider creative community and exploring her passions for acting and story-telling. She always tries to create content with an uplifting and educational aspect as well.

An Evening of African Poetry and Storytelling celebrates the expression of young African creatives in WA.

Come and embrace an evening of African poetry and storytelling curated by The Outsiders that fuses different forms of performing arts.

The aim is to allow our audience to experience the lives of those who society deems outsiders, as they seek to find their place in society while exploring their often complex identities, mental health, cultures, heritage, and art forms.
